Un Noël d’exception se prépare pour Tiffany, qui va enfin retrouver son coup de cœur de toujours : Brett. Mais lorsqu’elle apprend qu’il est en couple avec une femme parfaite, elle est dévastée. Tiffany élabore alors un plan avec son ami Peter, qui a aussi été éconduit. Pour regagner l’amour de leurs âmes sœurs respectives, Tiffany et Brett vont faire semblant d’être en couple et découvrir qu’ils ont beaucoup de points communs…
